These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AJ Massage Remedies, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). They govern your access to and use of any website, online booking system, mobile app (if applicable), and our massage therapy services, including therapeutic massage, pain relief sessions, chair massage, corrective bodywork, and related wellness offerings (collectively, the "Services").
By booking an appointment, receiving services, or using any online platforms we provide, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy (if separate).
If you breach any provision of these Terms, your authorization to use our Services automatically terminates.
Eligibility
Our Services are intended for individuals who are:
At least 18 years of age (or 16+ with parental/guardian consent and accompaniment)
In suitable physical condition for massage therapy
By using our Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and have no medical conditions that would make massage unsafe without physician clearance.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content related to our Services—including text, graphics, logos, images, treatment descriptions, and materials—is owned by AJ Massage Remedies, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to:
Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or materials
Use our trademarks (e.g., "AJ Massage Remedies") or logos without prior written permission
Use our Services or content for any purpose other than personal wellness as permitted
Use of Services
By booking or receiving Services, you agree to:
Use them for personal wellness purposes only
Follow all appointment policies, hygiene guidelines, and instructions provided by our licensed massage therapist(s)
Provide accurate health/history information as requested (to ensure safe treatment)
Arrive on time; late arrivals may result in shortened sessions without refund
We may use third-party tools (e.g., booking platforms or payment processors). We are not responsible for their content or availability.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
Engage in inappropriate, harassing, or unsafe behavior during sessions
Attempt to solicit unlicensed services or engage in illegal activities
Misrepresent your health condition or intentions
Interfere with our operations or other clients' experiences
Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments are by reservation only. By booking, you agree to our cancellation policy (e.g., 24-hour notice required for full refund/credit; fees may apply for no-shows or late cancellations). Specific policies will be provided at booking or in confirmation.
Payment
Services require payment (e.g., per session, packages). By providing payment information, you agree to:
Pay all applicable fees
Authorize us or our third-party processor to charge your method
Understand payments are non-refundable except as stated in our cancellation policy or required by law
Packages or series may have specific terms (e.g., expiration, non-transferable).
Assumption of Risk, Health Disclaimer, and Liability Waiver
Massage therapy is a complementary wellness service, not a substitute for medical care. It may involve risks such as soreness, bruising, or aggravation of conditions. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with receiving Services.
You represent that you are in good health or have consulted a physician if you have conditions (e.g., pregnancy, recent injury, circulatory issues). We do not diagnose, treat medical conditions, or provide medical advice.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AJ Massage Remedies, LLC, its owner (Angel Aponte), therapists, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from Services (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AJ Massage Remedies, LLC, its owner, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others' rights.
Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue Services or policies at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access for any reason, including violations, at our sole discretion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in Polk County, Florida.

FAQs
What types of massage do you offer, and how do I choose the right one?
AJ Massage Remedies offers Medical Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Relaxation Massage (with or without Hot Stones), and Chair Massage. During your first visit, AJ will discuss your goals and recommend the best massage style for your needs.
Where are you located, and how do I book an appointment?
AJ Massage Remedies is located inside Elle Suites in Lakeland, FL. Appointments are recommended and can be booked online, by phone, or by text.
What should I expect at my first session?
New clients receive a complimentary 15-minute upgrade (excluding chair massage) for a thorough assessment and extra attention to your main concerns. AJ will review your health history and tailor the session to your needs.
What is the Monthly Wellness Plan, and who is it for?
The Monthly Wellness Plan includes four 60-minute therapeutic massages (Deep Tissue, Medical, Sports, or Relaxation) to be used within 60 days. It’s ideal for clients managing chronic tension, recovery, or high stress.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a session being deducted from your plan.
